Don’t raise pension age: Retirement Commission

In a reversal from previous pronouncements, the Government’s Retirement Commission has recommended the pension age stays at 65, based on Treasury projections showing the scheme was sustainable for the next 30 years. Also, people were now approaching retirement with more debt, less savings, and declining home ownership.
