Grey Power encourages seniors to get the Covid-19 vaccine
Grey Power is pleased to note that the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine has arrived in the country and inoculations have already started with our most vulnerable workers.
We look forward to this becoming available to our members, in fact, to all older people. We are all aware that vaccinations are the most effective way of protecting not only ourselves but also those around us. This is another way we can continue to be part of the “team of 5 million” doing our duty to try to eradicate this virus from the community.

Unfair terms in village contracts are leaving a financial sting.
“Wake up with a song in your heart and a purpose for your day.” That’s the promotional plug for the 32 retirement villages owned by the Arvida Group. Along with hot pools and happy hours in your golden years, the company promises to make “it easier for you to live by your own rules”.

Digital literacy programme for seniors
The Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa (DIAA) is pleased to announce a new digital literacy programme for seniors – Better Digital Futures for Seniors. With support from The Office for Seniors, we have developed a customised programme for seniors, based on our successful Stepping UP initiative.
